[THE TRUE YOU]
"I wasn’t born a compassionless shrew. I used to be sort of nice, you know."
{Leah Clearwater} {Breaking Dawn}
Personality: An enigma wrapped in a riddle. Her name perhaps deriving from the mysterious comic book character, Remy is reluctant to reveal information about herself, wrapped in a forcefield of mystery. She's quick-witted and often sarcastic, never reluctant to turn the conversation just so the subject isn't on her.
She's a hard rock in the chaos of uncertainty. Ever confident, perhaps she's afraid to let you see her when she's weak, if she ever is. Believe it or not, she has a compassionate side to her, despite the Coven she's currently leading.
You'll only see it if you get on her good side, though. If Remy doesn't take to you, she'll rarely speak when you're around. Perhaps she's paranoid, or perhaps you are, but if she feels threatened, she's got an easy way to kill you.

Powers: Remy has the power to block people from her mind as well as being able to block scents with it. Always mysterious, even as a human, she liked to keep conversations away from herself and physically kept herself away from people who had nosy personalities. She can't shield others' minds from a thing; only herself. She has the ability to keep herself inside of her own mental shell, and she'd like to keep it that way. The idea of someone peeking into her brain is disgusting to her!
History: Remy was born an inquisitive and optimistic child, believe it or not. She was huge on poetry and the English subject in general as she started growing up, pondering aloud in mature expressions and phrases. She learned everything she knew about the subject from her older sister - Reena. She idolized Reena, like any young girl worships her older sister. There was an age gap of exactly eight years between the siblings, but it didn't matter; they were as close as two people could be without literally being joined.
Remy blew through school as if it were the easiest thing she'd ever accomplish, with high hopes of becoming an English teacher one day; the same profession that her sister had grown into at the age of twenty-five, Lise fifteen. The honor roll came easy to both sisters in high school, though both of their parents were unemployed.
Remy's mother, Anais, had never exactly had a stable, steady job. Most of her life she supported her children with money that came from waitressing at different restaurants. Remy's father had never exactly had a profession to begin with, at least not from the time Remy was born.
At the end of Remy's sophomore year, she returned home to find her family slaughtered in her home. It turned out her father had made 'friends' with a couple drug dealers not too far back, and had angered them by attempting to negotiate the price. Angered them a little too much, apparently. Remy found the bodies, and...well...you know how it is. Girl flees with her life, comes into contact with a few bad influences, and out the window goes her grades and her personality.
Then she's spit right back into reality, cold and dangerous. Remy went on a hunt for her family's killer...or killers, and suffered several stab wounds from the incident. They didn't discourage her though; years later, she continued her search. Three years later to be exact.
This time, she narrowly dodged a bullet, and was forced to flee the scene yet again.
Finally, four years passed. Four years filled with privately payed hits and training, she murdered the group of men, and one woman, it turned out, who killed her family. Little did she know that that one woman had bitten her; turned her into a vampire.
Looking to escape the incident, she moved permanently to Forks, Washington. After the money she earned from all her...visits, she managed to get a reliable, yet reclusive house.
As Remy began hearing about the Volturi from loud-mouthed vampires who loved to complain, she instantly grew to dislike them. She understood they were simply trying to keep order, but they were so arrogant and fond of themselves it seemed! And thus began the Occumbo Coven. Perhaps it was the murder in Remy's past that made her decide no Volturi was going to go around telling her what she could and could not do. She'd killed before. They simply weren't scary to her.
And surprisingly, she found others who thought the same. They grouped together, vowing to rise against the pigheadedness of the Volturi. Remy understood that with others around in Forks, they wouldn't be able to stay there. She wasn't a problem. It was the others.
So she moved. Where, you ask? Stupid question. Like she'd tell you! Ha.
She acts like the obvious killings don't bother her, but in actuality she has a difficulty dealing with death. You'd never know by looking at her what she goes through every time another human is killed.
