It started with the idea of a short walk, then turned into a long walk thought the forest when Neela found herself slightly lost. Why didn’t she keep track of where she had gone, the more she tried to find her way back, the more she seemed to lose her way. She started to panic slightly thinking she would never find her way out. After wondering around for a while the sight of what looked to be a lake could be seen between the trees. A smile parted her lips as she felt a little hope. Reaching the lake, that hope slipped away as no other life was here, and she still felt lost.
Neela walked to the edge of the lake looking in at her reflection. She sighed lightly bending down to pick up a rock, her green eyes scanned over the lake before she stood back up and skipped the rock over the waters surface. She continued to walk along the lakes edge looking into the woods for a path of some sort. She couldn’t see anything that stood out at her.
Now what? She thought to herself as she looked back to the lake watching a couple ducks swim around in the middle of the lake. The lake mirrored back the sky and trees and she started to wish she had some paper and pencils to do a drawing of this picture. It was survival 101 wasn’t it? If you get lost stay in one place, but I wasn’t about to spend the night out here, who knew what was in these woods.

Kenny's family had been busy today; way to busy to pay any attention to him. He took this chance to roam on his own without being bugged by them. His father had to go to work while his brothers didn't say what their plans were. Renato had told them he would bring blood back home because they were running out again. Kenny was just glad they weren't all completely newborn anymore; they drank to much. It wasn't easy dealing with the three of them as newborns all at once. Often had to literally throw them around. Thinking back on the memories made him laugh but then it was just very unfortunate and annoying.
Despite not having anything to do he thought of meeting up with Logan to take her somewhere nice. The movies always worked fine for a date but Kenny always had different versions of dates in mind. Usually something uncommon or unique like ice skating or the beach. Amusement parks even though those didn't offer much time alone. They were great for an excitement binge, however.
Grabbing his hat and phone he set off into the forest for a hunt. Animals blood never had his taste bud likings but at least his younger vampire family would have something. That is, if Mason and Ash returned home before their father did. Kenny ran through the forest with ease dodging trees, logs, bushes, and other sorts of plants. The weather had been warm although with the smell of rain in the air. That smell wasn't unfamiliar, however. This part of the country was bad with the weather. Always raining or cold but a great place for a vampire to fit in more with the humans. He was pretty sure the Olympic coven come here some years back exactly for the reason, less sun.
He gave a fake breath out as he jumped onto a tree. He pushed off from it to grab a hold of another. He repeated this quiet a few times helping him make his way through the forest. He stayed on a trail of a deer being careful to stalk it without noise or being seen. The animal knew something was wrong though because of the smell all vampires have. The scent that was so intoxicating to the humans. Acting as quick as he could, he hopped down from the trees to tackle it down. It wasn't long before the deer was dry.
Kenny caught the scent of something else though. Human. Curious, he started tracking it. The trail led him to a lake that he had been to often in the forest of Forks. "Hello." He said walking slowly up to her. It was odd for a human to be out so far. "You've come a long way. Are you lost?" The only reason he could figure for her being this far in is that she lost herself... that or she's a hiker. She didn't look like a hiker though. "I'm Kenny. I can help you out if you'd like."

Neela kept her eyes of the lake, watching the ducks. The sun was still warm on her face but she could see in the distance look like rain clouds were rolling in. Just her luck, not only was she lost in a forest, but it was going to start raining, what a horrible walk this has turned into. ’If I ever get out of here, I am never going for a walk on my own again’ she thought to herself.
She looked around again, maybe she missed a trail, after all, wasn’t this forest a common hiking place, their must be a trail leading out. She hadn’t heard anything along the lines of foot steps, thought Neela had a very good scents of smell for a human, and a lovely smell filled her nose before a voice sounded over the silence. She nearly jumped out of her skin, her heart out of her throat. She gasped turning around quickly to see a young guy slowly walking towards her.
She laughed at herself ”You scared the crap out of me” she said while laughing. She brought herself together taking a deep breath to calm her racing heart. ”yeah I am, I had gone for a walk, and didn’t really pay attention where I was going, and when I tried to find my way back, I think I just made it worse, and then I found this lake and thought maybe I could find a path, but I am not seeing any.” She took a breath looking around then back to him as he mentioned his name and a way out. She smiled softly. ”Nice to meet you, I am Neela, and that would be great”
