Quilleute Wolves
The change to wolf form is instant and painless. Sometimes the change is brought on by anger or loss of control. Wolves can choose to not be apart of any pack but usually run in packs. Their wolf form is much larger than a normal wolf, like the size of a horse. They start transforming at anywhere from 13 to 17 years of age. The first change is accompanied by violent sickness and flu-like symptoms.They also have very high body temperatures. After the first change, the werewolf will rapidly age until they look to be the age of maturity.
THE STRENGTH
Wolves have accelerated healing and senses.
THE ABILITIES
Werewolves can hear the thoughts of other shifters when they are in their animal forms. The only ones who can lead packs are Alpha wolves. Alphas are born not made. An alpha can choose to live as a lower wolf, however.
Other Animal Shifters
Shifters are the same as their wolf cousins except they may not be pack oriented and do not show up as wolves. They are much more rare than wolf shifters. The transforming starts at anywhere from 13 to 17 years of age. The first change is accompanied by violent sickness and flu-like symptoms.
- STRENGTH: Shape shifters have accelerated healing and senses. Even in human form they are quite a bit stronger than humans. In wolf form they are not as strong as vampires.
- ABILITIES: Shifters can hear the thoughts of other shifters when they are in their animal forms.
