Amera Bush was born on in 2002. Justine and Louise Bush were proud to bring their first baby home and were very excited to start their new family. She was well-taken care off in a middle class family and never had to go without. Amera didn't have trouble learning to sit up, crawl, or walk. As she turned two and a half, however, her mother didn't see she had fell into a lake. They had went ice skating and Amera hit a patch of thin ice. By the time her mother found her she was rushed to ICU. Many complications come along and the only one that healed was her hearing. She now wears hearing aids but even with them she can't hear very well.
One day, Justine and Louise left the house and gave their daughter a baby sitter. While the baby sitter was cooking she left it unintended and forgot about it. Her parents come back and went straight upstairs to see their baby, not realizing a fire was starting. It was too late when they realized it. They become trapped in their bedroom and died in the fire. Luckily for Amera, she was rescued once again and placed into an adoption agency.
When she started school she stayed in home schooling at the agency. She was afraid kids at school would pick on her, make fun, or bully. To prevent that she never bothered going in. She's very friendly though and had many good friends with the other orphans. She got along with everyone pretty well and has learned to ignore picking.
One day her best friend was adopted into a family. Although she was sad she wouldn't get to see Logan she was also very happy for her. It wasn't long until that same family come for Amera. The supernatural world was introduced to her slowly since she was adopted into a family of wereleopards. She was scared by this. Instead, she became very interested and ask for every little detail her parents offered to give her.
She's been with this family nearly two and a half years now and couldn't be happier.
