Good Evening Livingin Passions. This thread will explain how to use the C-box and the features it has, being this is a premium C-box. First things first how to register your name so only you may use it to stop people impersonating you ; because we don’t like people who try to be someone there not. As it gets rather annoying and confusing at the best times
Questions and Answers
Q: How do I register my name in the C-box
A: To Register your name in the C-box, click profile at the bottom of the C-box and choose a password of your choice. When you want to log in type your name into name box and press profile ; there you go you are registered happy postings.
Q How do you I get an Avatar in the C-box.
A To use this feature, upload your chosen image to the Web, this can be done for free we recommend tinypic.com (if the link is too long, it will not work)
Next, enter the link to it in the "email / url input box" of the Chatbox.
Any .gif, .jpg or .png file will be accepted. Avatars should be 45 pixels by 45 pixels square, any other sized image will be auto resized.
Q: I can't log in. It says "Invalid username or password"
A: Please check that you are logging in with the correct details. If you aren't sure of your username or password, visit Reset C-Box password,enter your email address, and your username and password will be emailed to you. Copy and paste (Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste) those details directly to the log in form to ensure that there are no typos.
Q: What are the formatting codes?
A: Answer: The bbcodes for bold, italics, underline and font colour are listed in the Help popup on any Cbox. Just click the "help" link at the bottom-right of any Cbox.
Q: I already registered for the website/message boards, isn’t registering my name for the chatbox redundant?
A: Answer: NO! Registering your name for the chatbox is very important. Before we had the option to register our names rude people could (and did) post messages as if they where you, using your nickname. This made it seem as if it where you saying rude things. We have the option now to register our nickname so no one else can use it. You don't have to use it, but it is nice.
Q: why are other people in the C-Box different colours.
A: Well being this is Premium C-Box, we have the option to make different user groups colours.
Chat Box Rules (As noted in site rules)
1) No advertising in the chat box. We have specific boards for you to post them in.
2) Do not spam our chat box. If you do then you will be banned from the chat box and the forum.
3) All the general rules for the forum apply in the chat box so please don't break them.
4) If you happen to have a disagreement or Grudge with one of your fellow role-players ; please don't turn the C-box into your own personal War-zone. That's what Private messages are for. but if you feel you cant settle the matter, send a pm to one of the staff with reasons and we will take it from there.
5) Respect all Staff and members.
