It had all started with that freak show; Cas had been noticing all new trend among students. Greasy black combed down over their eyes, make up, finger nails painted, and clothing which as far as Cas was concerned, could have went both ways. It was getting harder and harder to tell the girls from the guys and vice versa, yet another glorious downfall of society as a whole. It had started with the acceptance of humans and the ridiculous idea of hiding from them and then the battle between the covens and now it was moving on into the acceptance that everybody was perfectly equal and on the same footing. Everyone was meshing together, becoming the same creature, despite their best efforts to deny that fact and call themselves different.
Of course, Cas wasn't really dressed to 'perfect' standards, a pair of faded blue jeans and a white tee shirt with black boots. On his left hand were two silver rings, one on his thumb and the other on his middle finger, both engraved with some sort of runes. Around his neck was a simple rope necklace pulled tightly at his throat with an odd sort of bauble which meant something only Cas knew and understood. His general appearance was American in every meaning of the word and this sometimes ostracized him from the rest of his group.
Moving on with the situation at hand, Cas watched the two before him, the girl, who was human, had been sketching from what Cas could surmise of the moment was now in an early and seemingly awkward conversation with the guy. The rain didn't seem to bother either one, despite their inability to simply move indoors which would protect them from the drenching water.
Leaning up against a pillar, Cas crossed his arms and watched the silence which passed between the two before him. Both the girl and the guy seemed like they didn't have a coherent thought between them, however, the girl did seem a bit more collected. Cas had learned that girls always had something going on in their heads, even if they didn't act like it and on a side note, Cas hoped the lack of conversation on her part was because of lack of interest in the guy. "Well," Cas finally said after realizing this conversation was going nowhere, "If your wanting a conversation, then I really doubt this winner here is going to give you anything worth your while," he said, flashing a smile in girl's direction, not even giving the guy the time of day.
With a roll of his eyes he walked back into the warmth of the college building and straight up the staircase. He made a right turn once he reached his destination of the second floor; in his mind he wanted to annoy or bug Professor Peyton. He slowly walked up to the professors classroom door and made his entrance. "Hello, Professor." He said with a smirk. "You wouldn't have a cigarette you give me eh? I'll give you, umh, ten scents for one. It'll be our little secret." Cas only knew he smoked because of him prying around for the clan, didn't bother him though. The question was if the man would give him one.
"You aren't even a student here. You need to leave."
"I think I'll stick around."
Professor Peyton is the clans next victim. The reasons are confidential at the current moment but they're good enough to rid of him. With a fake sigh he walked out of the room to lay his back against the wall.... He figured since he had quiet a few more boring hours he could bother some of the college students.
